Growing up surrounded by nature and residing in a conservancy, firmly ingrained Aden’s awareness and love of nature, from a very young age. After finishing school, he joined the family air conditioning business where he gained valuable business and people skills and practical hands on experience with electrical, plumbing and mechanical knowledge.

Although working full time, his love for nature and the environment was still his true passion and every opportunity he got, he furthered his education by studying and attending permaculture and sustainable agriculture courses.

Coupled with Aden’s love of nature was his desire to do more and be proactive in protecting the environment, this led him to becoming a voluntary Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Honorary Officer where he was taking tourists and students on hikes and educating them on biodiversity. In line with his belief that “there is no economy without ecology” he has nestled himself into the Fairview team as the Service Manager, where his technical skills and passion can co-exist.
