Karen was born in Durban and moved around South Africa while growing up, before returning to Durban once she left school.

With a Diploma in Accounting One, she worked mostly in the accounting field during her career and this gave her the opportunity to grow her knowledge and experience in this field.

Her passion for baking lead her to qualify as a Pastry Chef in 2019 and she enjoys decorating cakes in her spare time as well as spending time outdoors gardening. With this in mind she looks forward to moving onto Fairview Estates in the near future and putting those green fingers to work when she isn’t in the office
